Local Professionals Awarded

C. L. Lewis & Co., Inc., now celebrating 81 years, is proud to report that the following team members have earned the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED® AP) credential from the Green Building Certification Institute: Daniel W. Dixon, Vice President-Construction/Project Manager; and Kevin D. Hooper, Vice President-Preconstruction/Project Manager. In addition, William H. Marshall, Project Manager/Estimator, has recently completed EarthCraft House Program training, which promotes healthy, comfortable and energy-efficient homes.
Dixon is currently managing construction of one of the first LEED® certified projects in the area, the City of Lynchburg’s Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court House, which has a potential gold rating. Hooper’s LEED® certified projects include the Jarman Auditorium renovation at Longwood University in Farmville, and the new Research and Education Facility for the Center for Advanced Engineering & Research in Forest, both of which have potential silver ratings.
