Brian Carlton, CFP, a financial planner with Huff, Stuart & Carlton, participated in the annual national conference of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA) from May 18-21, 2010, in Chicago, Illinois. Carlton was featured on a panel which presented methods of increasing public awareness of the importance of the Fiduciary Standard, a Federal requirement specific to registered investment advisory firms to act solely in the best interest of the client. Carlton is a partner in the Fee-Only advisory firm of Huff, Stuart & Carlton, based in Lynchburg.
