Publisher’s Letter: June 2010
Issue: June 2010 by Lynchburg Business in From the Publisher
Type the word “success” into a search engine and you’re instantly flooded with about 345 million results. From blog posts and online courses to quotes and tips—you name it, it’s out there and in varying forms. Just like there are different ways to teach success, there are different ways to define it.
Many of us spend our entire lives in search of that seven-letter word. What does success look like to you? Is it finally reaching your goal revenue for the month? A promotion? Or do you find success in the simplicity of having a long-standing presence in the area?
For businesses like Grayson Ferguson Woodworking, on page 10, their successes come in the form of the unique pieces they build for their equally diverse set of clients. For Riverviews Artspace, on page 26, they’ve found success in a growing community awareness and well-deserved appreciation for the arts.
Success is a simple word with endless possibilities. However you choose to define it, make sure you always choose to attain it.
Sincerely, Prototype: Media
